BASIC RADIANT FILL & PURGE KIT INSTRUCTIONS Radiant heat is the most comfortable and efficient heat available. With so many unmatched benefits over traditional heating systems, it is easy to see why homeowners, business owners and contractors are making the Basic Radiant™ choice. WHAT IS RADIANT HEAT? | Radiant heat is the most comfortable and efficient heat available. It radiates heat from the floor up, so the warmth stays around people and objects, as opposed to the ceiling. Heated water is distributed through PEX tubing which is installed in the floor. The water is heated from a heat source which is typically a water heater or boiler. The Basic Radiant™ panel is the heart of the system. It contains the pump and other controls which help to circulate the water. The heat from the water radiates from the floor up, meaning that the heat stays where the people are. Room surfaces are warmer and inviting to the touch. | |
