New technologies and improvements in construction materials and practices have increased the awareness and demand for sustainable buildings. These buildings use construction materials and methods that have little to no negative impact on the environment for future generations.
At NIBCO, we have always strived to preserve our earth's resources and maximize the use of recycled content, not only in the manufacturing processes that we use but on the corporate level as well. Today, we continue to discover new ways we can reduce, reuse and recycle in order to demonstrate our true 'Commitment to Green.'
NIBCO has compiled reference sheets and tools to make it easier for the end-user to specify and install NIBCO products in green construction projects.
Download this handy reference guide, which compares NIBCO’s green products and services against the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for New Construction, version 2.2 and LEED for Existing Buildings, version 2.0. This also includes a detailed explanation for contractor submittals of each credit and how NIBCO products may qualify.
These letters certify the use of recycled content in the manufacture of NIBCO products. Blytheville, Ark.
