    Job Description
    This position is primarily responsible for developing, leading and guiding the execution of sales strategies and tactics for Balancing & Control products used in the HVAC sector of Non-residential Construction.  Primary role includes securing NIBCO Balancing & Control specifications and managing key customer and sales representatives (NIBCO direct sales and independent representatives).


    • Secure Balancing & Controls specifications with end users and specifying engineers.
    • Determine sales growth plans and goals for various territory accounts and channel partners.
    • Establish and manage sales representative company relationships.
    • Actively pursue projects that may utilize NIBCO Balancing and Controls products.
    • Collaborate with Marketing on product launches, promotions, pricing reviews, and branding campaigns.
    • Work with NIBCO direct sales force to grow all sales of Balancing and Controls in territory.
    • Conduct product demonstrations with customers at various locations including construction jobsites, distributor counter areas, and contractor fabrication shops.
    • Develop and deliver product and sales training for channel partners (independent representatives and distributors) and NIBCO direct sales force.
    • Review and report all progress with sales accounts and projects on a regular basis.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 to 10 years of sales experience with emphasis in Balancing and Control Products.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree required.


    Experience working with Mechanical Contractors required.

    Technical knowledge of balancing valves used in HVAC systems preferred. 

    If no Balancing experience, knowledge of general duty valves used in HVAC systems required.  

    Ability to influence, motivate and lead an in-direct sales team to deliver sales results.
